  • Which unique resorts are included in Boutique Bonaire?

    Boutique Bonaire consists of six small-scale resorts, spread across the island. All with an intimate and charming appearance. Personal contact is paramount. In addition to the Boutique Bonaire services, each resort has its own feature:

  • Do you offer transfers to and from the airport?

    Yes, we offer airport transfers. We can arrange an airport transfer from USD 30 per transfer. Please contact us for more details!

  • What is the distance and travel time to the airport?

    All our boutique resorts are located within a 5 - 15 min. drive from Flamingo Airport.

  • How far is Kralendijk from the resort?

    • Kura Kabana: located in town, within walking distance from the boulevard and restaurants
    • Blue Bonaire: located in town, within walking distance from the boulevard and restaurants
    • Casita Palma:  located in town, within walking distance from the boulevard and restaurants
    • Vista Alegre:  8 minutes by car, we do not recommend walking 
    • Bamboo Bonaire: 7 minutes by car, we do not recommend walking
    • Bliss Bonaire:  7 minutes by car, we do not recommend walking
  • What is the booking & cancellation policy?

    • Rebook up to 2 weeks prior to arrival: without an extra changing fee and losing your

    deposit, within one year from initial arrival date (based on availability and seasonal rates may apply). Your deposit will be applied to your next reservation. Upon rebooking the full amount of the reservation is will be charged. 

    • Rebook within 2 weeks prior to arrival: no refund will be given

    • Cancel up to 2 weeks prior to arrival: your 50% downpayment is non-refundable

    • Cancel within 2 weeks prior to arrival: your 100% payment is non-refundable

    Special offers are non-refundable

  • Which credit cards does Boutique Bonaire accept?

    Visa, Mastercard, Discover and AMEX.

  • Is there WiFi at the resorts?

    Yes, all resorts have high-speed WiFi. Easy when you work from home and you can send photos to family and friends.

  • Do you offer reception service?

    At Bliss Bonaire, Kura Kabana, Blue Bonaire, Casita Palma and Vista Alegre, there is no reception on-site. Our team will personally welcome you the day of arrival. If you are arriving after office hours you will be greeted the next day. You can always reach our Boutique Team via WhatsApp or phone and we are happy to assist you!


    The central reception of Boutique Bonaire is located at Bamboo Bonaire. The reception is open daily from 8 am to 5 pm and on Sundays from 9 am to 11 am.

  • What time is check-in?

    Check-in is possible from 3:00 pm

  • What is the check-out time?

    Check-out time is 10:30 am. Does your return flight not leave until later that day? Then you are welcome to stay at the resort before your departure. 

  • Is an early check-in or late check-out possible?

    Early check-in or late check-out is possible based upon availability and can only be requested during your stay. Contact us for more information!

  • Can you help us with a rental car?

    We are happy to arrange a rental car for you. View our Drive & Stay Packages and contact our Boutique Team for more information!

  • Is there a breakfast service?

    Bamboo Bonaire offers daily breakfast at the on site restaurant CHEFS or a champagne breakfast in bed. Bliss Bonaire, Kura Kabana, Blue Bonaire, Casita Palma and Vista Alegre do not have breakfast service, but are close to restaurants. 

  • Is there a restaurant at the resort?

    Bamboo Bonaire offers a five-course dinner in the CHEFS restaurant four evenings a week. It is a fine dining experience for Bamboo Bonaire guests and guests from outside. Up to sixteen guests per evening enjoy a fine dining experience with a personal touch. Important: book on time because the waiting list can be up to three months. At Bliss Bonaire, Kura Kabana, Blue Bonaire, Casita Palma and Vista Alegre, there is no restaurant on site, but there are several restaurants within walking distance. Bamboo Bonaire also has several restaurants within walking distance.

  • Is cleaning included?

    At Bliss Bonaire, Kura Kabana, Blue Bonaire, Casita Palma and Vista Alegre, cleaning service including towel change once a week. From 1 week stay, also bed linen will be changed. Additional cleaning is available at an additional cost. At Bamboo Bonaire, the cleaning service takes place every other day.

  • Are beach towels provided?

    Yes, beach towels are available upon request and for an additional cost. Please contact our Boutique Team. 

    At Bamboo Bonaire beach towels are included.

  • I am staying at Boutique Bonaire and would like to reserve a massage spa treatment there. How does this work?

    You can make a reservation during your stay with our Boutique Bonaire Team. The massage is scheduled at the Bamboo Bonaire resort.

  • Can I smoke in the accommodation?

    No, smoking is not permitted in our accommodations. You are allowed to smoke on the veranda.

  • What are the benefits of a magnesium swimming pool?

    Our resorts have a magnesium swimming pool that provides a luxurious spa experience. In this swimming pool, the water quality is regulated by magnesium, which means that chlorine is no longer needed. Magnesium is very pleasant for the swimmer and better for the environment.

  • Can I use the pool and jacuzzi at any time of the day?

    The pool is open from 8 am - 8 pm.

  • Is there an iron in the room?

    At Bliss Bonaire, Kura Kabana, Blue Bonaire, Casita Palma and Vista Alegre, you can request an iron during your stay. At Bamboo Bonaire all cottages are equipped with iron and ironing board. 

  • Are there washing facilities at the resorts?

    Yes, this is available in some of our Boutique Resorts. Please contact us for more information!

  • What is the currency on Bonaire?

    On Bonaire we use US dollars (USD).

  • Is it safe to walk the streets at night?

    Yes, Bonaire is one of the safest places to stay.

  • Is it safe to drink tap water on Bonaire?

    Yes, it is completely safe to drink Bonaire's tap water. It is extracted by desalting seawater and is of high quality.

  • What is the Bonaire Entry Tax?

    From July 1, 2022, all visitors to Bonaire are required to pay the Bonaire Entry Tax upon arrival: for tourists aged 13 and older, USD 75; for children from 2 to 12 years USD 10. You can pay this tax online from two weeks before departure via iDEAL or credit card: https://tourismtax.bonairegov.com/form
